Zen Shiatsu

When practiced by an experienced therapist (I have been doing this since 1999), Zen Shiatsu is both gentle and deep. Pressure that is applied in an appropriate, receptive and responsive way has profound therapeutic effects for a wide range of conditions, stresses and painful situations.

Acupuncture

I use Acupuncture in combination with Zen Shiatsu. This means that your acupuncture treatment comes with a healthy dose of bodywork to facilitate your process and I do not leave you alone in a room with needles in you! Herbal Medicine

The Traditional Asian application of herbal therapy is as profound as it is old, bringing a sophisticated understanding of the combining of herbs into simple and effective formulas for health and wellness. Specifically I practice in the Japanese Herbal Tradition known as Kampo which is known for its direct and targeted approach to finding the appropriate remedy for your situation.

With African roots and Canadian branches, (T’agyol) Daniel Adler has been offering Traditional Asian Medicine treatments in Toronto for the past 23 years. Trained in Zen Shiatsu, Acupuncture and Kampo (Japanese Herbal Medicine) he is proud and excited to have his practice at DuPont Family Naturopathic Clinic.

Daniel works with a wide range of conditions ranging from musculoskeletal pain and stress to more specific concerns around digestion and menstruation. He also has a large amount of experience treating martial artists and athletes and the injuries that they endure.

Daniel is known for his ability to connect deeply with his patients and for his strong commitment to facilitating healing on multiple levels. Treatments with Daniel last an hour. During a bodywork session he combines Zen Shiatsu and Acupuncture. He may chant during the session and may use sound vibration on your body. Herbal treatments also last an hour and involve many questions plus tongue, pulse and abdominal assessment to arrive at a remedy.

Daniel is Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (RTCMP) in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners of Ontario.

He will be offering treatments at the Clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9.45am, 11.15am and 12.30pm. If you want to contact him to find out if treatments might be for you: 647 262 5722 or tagyoladler04@gmail.com..
